/64 Oh muse, please tell the story
/64 Of those who live life on their own path,
/64 here the journey started
/64 will the journey end here as such?
/64 So many adventures they lived
/64 sharing dreams with companions
/64 by new discoveries fulfilled
/64 moving fast to their destinies.
/64 Like Ulysses sailing toward Ithaca
/64 fighting against a world of anger
/64 and mysteries coming from every side
/64 feeling excitement for a new life
/64 Living the journey until the end
/64 and new encounters to spark a light
/64 feeling the body and nothing else
/64 finding the real spirit, and old clothes behind.
/64 Like the Greeks in their journey lasted years
/64 they left Troy and learned to be free
/64 despite plots and many tears
/64 through harbors where travelers meet.
/64 For many and long years
/64 built up courage with the challenges
/64 sailing until the land is near
/64 with timeless energy to face the hurdles.
/64 Suffering miseries and pains
/64 moved by inner sense of will
/64 with life running through the veins
/64 with comrades met along the way.
/64 Like the Greek expedition long defeated
/64 before getting even closer
/64 with running winds to be helped
/64 reach their beloved place.
/64 Naked but dressed in beliefs
/64 that the journey, the pain is worth;
/64 Here is the story of a group of friends
/64 making the way toward their path.
/64 Through large tides in the adverse seas
/64 watching the sirens but not wasting time
/64 mastering hurdles of unknown lands
/64 with recklessness every night.
/64 So many places took out the breath
/64 inwardly hungry like travelers seethe
/64 giving a meaning to the events
/64 as there were gods behind them.
/64 Lengthy as life the journey will be
/64 via mountains, lands and the wide open sea
/64 knowing new people, creatures and wind
/64 opening paths that before were blind.
/64 Son of pain was the unlucky Ulysses called
/64 so many troubles by life were brought
/64 as Homer in his story has told
/64 but every suffering a lesson taught.
/64 You can choose where to go,
/64 what to chase and whom to know;
/64 until you will find your real self
/64 by exploring time in great depth;
/64 as you grow and discover your art,
/64 your journey will be the only important part.
/64 No matter where your own Odyssey start
/64 if you focus on where you will pass
/64 as the sun sets and the sun rises
/64 thrusting earth and sky apart
/64 you will reach the farthest end of home
/64 singing for your time too.
